i dont really care where it is, i just wanna know if i can purchace tickets in advanced. Because for 2008 I waited too long and 2012 I can not go, so I want to go for 2016!

i felt Tokyo had a stronger bid but i think with the selection of South Africa for the world cup the world was putting a lot of pressure on the IOC to pick a city that was part of a developing nation. Hopefully Rio can fix it’s rampant crime in the shantytowns (unlikely) or find a way to minimize it’s impact on the games without resorting to heavy protection. Good luck and congratulations Rio.
